Indianapolis Housing Agency Important Notice - Partial Closure of the Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher Program, and Main Offices.

Indianapolis - Beginning Monday September 9th, 2024, the Indianapolis Housing Agency's (IHA) Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher Program, and Main Offices will experience a partial closure as we work on updating our recovered database. This upgrade is essential to enhance our services for residents, participants, and landlords. The offices will be closed to the public according to the following schedule:

  • Mondays: Closed to the public from 1:00 PM to 4:50 PM
  • Tuesdays: Closed to the public from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM 
  • Wednesdays: Open to the public regular business hours (8:00 AM to 4:50 PM)
  • Thursdays: Open to the public regular business hours (8:00 AM to 4:50 PM)
  • Fridays: Closed to the public from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM 

This partial office closure schedule is tentatively planned, and we will provide a public update soon. There will also be a new Walk-In Wednesday schedule for 2025 posted soon. The schedule will be found in the News & Events section of the IHA's website: www.indyhousing.org.

Emergency Reporting: For any life-threatening situations or criminal activity, please dial 911 immediately.

Work Orders: Residents can continue to report work orders by calling our 24/7 call number at 317.215.0632.
