Important Notice: Inspection Services Update

The Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA) is committed to maintaining efficient and high-quality Housing Choice Voucher program services.

Effective July 15, 2026, IHA will partner with Gilson Housing Partners as a third-party vendor to assist with conducting Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections.

Gilson Housing Partners will conduct inspections in accordance with IHA policies and procedures and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Quality Standards. This partnership is intended to support timely and effective inspection services while maintaining all required program standards.

This change does not alter the responsibilities of landlords or participants. Landlords remain responsible for ensuring their units are safe, sanitary, and compliant with Housing Quality Standards, and participants must continue to meet program requirements.

Inspection notifications will continue to be mailed. Landlords may also continue to access inspection updates through the landlord portal, where information will be posted as it becomes available.
