Indianapolis Housing Agency executive director Bud Myers has announced that Jennifer Green has been tapped to serve as president of Insight Development Corporation. Green, who has been with agency since 2008 most recently served as the director of compliance where she was responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance for the organization. Green also was responsible for monitoring quality improvement systems and providing technical assistance to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
"When the opportunity for us to select new leadership for Insight Development Corporation, Jennifer Green was our first choice," said Bud Myers. "Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked for over 20 years in the community and economic development sector. She played an instrumental role in converting over 1000 public housing units to low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) units here in the Indianapolis Housing Agency. She also served as project manager of the nationally recognized Fall Creek Place and along with these responsibilities she has been the vice-president of Insight for the past four years," he added.
"For years, the Insight team has worked tirelessly to strengthen the housing landscape and has developed a rich legacy along the way," stated Green. "I look forward to building upon that legacy and leaving no stone unturned to identify resources and partnerships to ensure our residents have access to quality housing. I am honored to receive this opportunity," she added.
Green will assume her role January 9, 2017.
