MBE / WBE / VBE / DOBE Goals

The Indianapolis Housing Agency has established goals for participation by minority (MBE), women (WBE), veteran (VBE), and disability-owned (DOBE) businesses.

The established goals are:

  • 15% MBE
  • 8% WBE
  • 3% VBE
  • 1% DOBE

These goals are an expectation of every vendor that contracts with IHA. Only certified firms are counted towards the goals.

Work Force Diversity Goals

The Indianapolis Housing Agency has established a work force diversity plan that appplies to construction projects only. Goals for the work forces diversity plan are as follows:

  • minority participation in each trade are 12.5%
  • female participation in each trade are 6.9%
