Over the past six months, the
Indianapolis Housing Agency has implemented
many improvements in our Section 8 voucher
program. Among those improvements is a
significant effort to improve the IHA's
relations with rental property owners.
This effort includes
simplifying the Section 8 program process
for landlords, simplifying forms, providing
a forum for landlord issues, training for
landlords, marketing the program and working
cooperatively with local law enforcement
agencies, and owner and community groups to
improve the integrity of the program.
