How do I list my property with the Section 8 Program?

Property can be listed on the following website:  www.indyhousing.org or toll free at 1-877-428-8844.

In order for a property owner to include his/her property in the Section 8 Program, the owner must provide certain information to the IHA. To list your property you must provide the following information:

1.      Your picture identification

2.      Your Social Security Card

3.      Original or certified copy of the executed Warranty Deed, Quit Claim Deed or other proof of ownership as indicated on the Owner Information and Property Ownership Form required by the IHA.

4.      Proof of your home mailing address (i.e. most recent utility bill)

5.      A management agreement, if the owner is using an agent.

6.      Assignment of Payee, if you want your manager to directly receive the housing assistance payment.
